Significance of Navratri
Navratri means Nine Nights and is celebrated by performing pooja to nine different forms of goddess Parvati namely  Maa Shailaputri, Maa Brahmacharini, Maa Chandraghanta Maa Kushmanda, Maa Skanda Mata, Maa Katyayani, Maa Kalaratri, Maa Mahagauri, and Maa Siddhidayini.
